Pleasant wine-growing village
Fournès, a nice village perched upon a hill, was built around its fortified castle now ruined.
The vineyards around the village produces a tasty wine which can be tasted in the village wine cellars.
In the centre of the village, the church and the clock tower with its belfry are worth a glance. In the middle of the vineyards stands out a very curious little chapel, Saint-Pierre de Fournès Chapel, built around the IXth century.
